Birthday Celebration

Well....I turned 31 on November 3rd.  It feels so weird to be in the 30's, I still feel like I'm in my 20's, probably because I have been in my 20's for 10 years. :)  I remembered when I turned 20 and I felt so old but now that I am 31, I look back and think how young I really was.  My birthday landed on a fast Sunday so Brett was off the hook in making any meals that day but he did let me sleep in while he took care of all the kids' needs for the day.  For my birthday, the kids decorated the house full of pictures they drew.  They couldn't find any tape so they stood them up against the floor and wall.  The kitchen was lined up of cute pictures-I loved it! I always thought it was funny when my parents' would say that all they want for their birthday is good kids, now that I am a parent, I know why, because that is all I want from my kids.  I love their endless hugs and kisses throughout the day.  The primary children sang to me in Primary and my kids sang the loudest.

For my birthday, my parents took the kids overnight Friday and most of the day Saturday.  Brett and I went to Red Robin so I could use my free burger and then on to the temple.  There is a new temple video, and it is really good.  Brett and I sat in the Celestial room talking about what we learned and shared our thoughts and inspiration.  I love love the temple!  I love that I can "leave" the world and enter to a whole new world of peace and happiness.  I feel so blessed that I can experience the blessing that come from attending the temple.  The next day, Brett joined me and exercised.  He has been really good in exercising everyday since then too!

The next week, Ondalynn and I celebrated our birthdays together at my parents' house.  My mom made a yummy orange chicken dinner, salad and rolls and apple crisp for dinner.  Ondalynn gave me nice package of Scentsy candles.  I LOVE LOVE IT!  My house smells amazing.

The following week, I celebrated my birthday with the Caudle family.  We also celebrated Jenny's birthday since her birthday is in November as well and the October birthdays, Daisy and Octavian. I got a $25 gift card to Olive Garden, pretty hand made scarf, and nice smelly soap.
