Christmas with the Caudle Family

We were so blessed to have EVERYONE home for Christmas.  It was a full house with lots of kids, noise, chaos and food.  We played lots and lots of games, sang around the piano, and just enjoyed talking with one another.  I started a new tradition and hopefully it will carry on. We acted out the nativity story and sang songs along with it.  I thought the first year went great and the kids loved being part of it.
I always enjoy opening up the exchange gifts for each other.  Usually in late October we draw names to see who we give to.  Everyone agreed to try to make a homemade gift for the person they drew.  There were a lot of creative presents this year.  It was great!  Another highlight was Don buying a HUGE basket full of perfume, lotions, and nice smelly stuff from Bath and Body Works for all the girls in the family.  We had to open it together and grab whatever we wanted. Stephanie has been very crafty these past months.  She made all her kids and her and Kirk matching pajamas for Christmas.  She also made a purse for each of the sister in laws.  She is amazing and I love my purse!

You can enjoy so many fun times with cousins. Loved your tradition of dressing up for the Nativity and singing songs to go with it. The kids were so cute!
