After the Fish Hatchery we drove a few miles to Cascade Locks. I love love this place! It's right next to the Columbia River. There was an awesome park that we played at for a few hours. The playground was new to the kids so everything was exciting. We walked across a small bridge to a little island to get a better look of the river and explore.
Since there was a bridge and LOTS of sticks, I taught them something I remember my dad teaching me when I was little. They each picked up a stick from around the wooden area and then we would throw our sticks over one side of the bridge then turn around and see which stick came out from underneath the bridge first. The kids loved it and played the game multiple of times.
After a fun and long trip we headed to see Trent and Jenny's new house out in Gresham. They'll be in my parent's ward. It's a nice house with three bedrooms and AWESOME walk in closet in the master room. It's so big that it could be another room. I love their backyard. There is a place for a garden and herbs. We are really excited for them.
I don't think there is anyone that is a bigger Elsa fan than my Kaeley girl. She was so excited to meet Else at the Children's Consignment Store. She couldn't stop talking about it in the car ride there but when it was time to finally meet her she became very shy and reserve. Daisy was excited to meet her too but then didn't end up going up to her because she was embarrass that other might think she was a "baby".
Daisy recently had a Spring Concert. Both sets of grandparents were there.
After Daisy's concert we rushed over to the church for Clark's Scout Pack Meeting. Clark and the other Wolfs put on a skit for the parents.
Clark earned his Bobcat award! Way to go Clark!
I have been reading the book, "Indian in the Cupboard" to the kids every night for the past few weeks. We finally finished it and watched the movie of it for movie night that Friday.
Saturday April 26th, was our communities parade and fair. The kids favorite part of the parade was of course the candy that was thrown out to them.

After the parade we went over to the carnival. We check out the rides but the tickets cost SO MUCH MONEY! It was ridiculous. For $20 each kid could ride on ONE ride and that is it. The kids really wanted to go on the rides but we explained to them that it was way too out of our budget. Even though they really wanted to go on the rides, they didn't cry or scream when we said no. We have good kids! Instead we did the FREE things there like....

What fun memories! You do so many great activities with your children. Loved all the cute pictures and the things they say and do. Maybe we can go with you next time to Cascade Locks. Looked so fun!
