It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The month of December always goes by so fast with all the activities that happens.  Here is what happened during the month of December.  They're not in chronological order.

Primary Decorating for the Ward Christmas Party

Brett had a work Christmas party at a co-workers house.  Clark loved it because there were other boys his age and they happened to love, you know what, Angry Birds! He was heaven!

Our friend Alina gave us a gingerbread decorating kit and the kids went to town decorating it.  The house of candy didn't last long as they ate most of it THAT DAY!

FHE one night we visited Santa at the "Santa Place"

Ice Skating at Lylod Center
At Brett's school, there is a little girl in the 1st grade named Vella.  She absolutely adores Brett.  Last year when she was in kindergarten, Brett would work in her class sometimes and every time he would come in the classroom, she would go up to him and give him a hug and tell him he smells like her daddy.  Before school let out for Christmas break, Vella invited Brett to come see her at her ice skating recital. The morning of the event, we headed to Llyod Center Mall to watch her skate.  It was really busy at since it was the LAST Saturday before Christmas.  But the kids love watching the other kids skate.  At the time, Vella didn't know Brett had come so when she came out to skate she saw him and a big smile came over her face and waved to him.  I finally got to meet her after the performance.
She is the one in the middle in the red pj's with a braid.

Christmas in the eye of a child.
My kids can be kinda sneaky and steal my phone to take pictures of random things around the house.  I thought this was cute as I looked through the pictures they took of the Christmas stuff we have around our house.

Christmas Decorating and 56th Birthday party for Grandma Caudle
The night consist of decorating and eating lots of Christmas cookies.  There was a cookie decorating contest, whenever the Caudle family gets together, there is always some kind of competetition.  My cookie actually won this year.  My cookie was the snowman and Brett's was the Asian-looking gingerbread cookie.  Kaeley enjoyed playing with her cousins in the playroom closet.  The day we decorated cookies, was also Diane's birthday.  Trent made the most delicious German Chocolate Cake (her favorite) and we gave her presents.  I armed wrestled Austin-and WON!  Brett and Trent armed wrestled and Brett won too.

The Cutest Gingerbread House ever! I recieved this cute gingerbread house from my good friend from church, Colleen Magleby.  Yes, that is my address on the house.
