Spring Break

WOW!  I am really behind in my family blog updates.  I am going to really try and do better so most of these posts will be short and sweet!

This past week was Spring Break and it was packed with lots of activities.  One of the nice things about Brett working in the school is that he gets Spring Break off too!  The Saturday before Spring Break started we were invited by our good friend the Pickups to go swimming at the indoor swim park.  There was a wave pool, a kiddie pool, regular pool for older kids and a regular pool for younger kids.  We spent a few hours there and they could have spent the rest of the day there but baths needed to be done before Sunday the next day.  I wish I was able to take pictures but I was too afraid to my camera would be stolen or find its way into the water.

Here are the run down of the events we did.

Chuck-E-Cheese:  What kid would love to live only a few blocks away from Chuck-E-Cheese?  Well my kids do and we pass it multiple times.  They went twice last year and that was only because they were invited for birthday parties there.  Ever since then they begged to go and we try to convince them that they city park was way better.  :)  Clark's school was having a fundraiser there and so we decided this was a good opportunity to go.  The kids waited patiently until dad got home so we could all go.  As soon as they saw Dad pull up, they ran into the van and were buckled up before he even got out of the car!  :)  I wish they could be that fast every time we need to go somewhere. We spent a good two hours there.  We were lucky to get there before the mad rush of everyone else. The kids got about 500 tickets and bought a LARGE Chuck-E-Cheese pin, candy and two slinkeys.  We ended the day by having a pizza party and Fenix came over for a sleepover that night.

Papa's Pizza-- Another fun place we went was Papa's Pizza.  It's an indoor super playground and of course the best pizza ever!  I promise we don't eat pizza everyday!  The kids could hardly eat their pizza, they were too excited to play.

Parks- We spent a lot of time at the park too.  We visited few different parks so they didn't get bored of the same one.  One day we meet up with some friends and enjoyed most of the morning with them.
