A month ago we moved in with my in-laws to help pay their bills since my father in law is unable to work due to his heart surgery in December. When we moved in there was an ant problem. We bought some ant bombs to help get rid of them. Once the bombs are let off you have to be out of the house for 6 hours. We decided to do on President's Day when Brett had the day off from work. We let off the ant bombs in the morning and headed off to the mall.
Inside the mall was a motorized train that the kids have been begging to ride. The train conductor was nice enough to give us a discount on each of the tickets. The kids were so excited! The look of happiness and glee was priceless. I am glad we spent the money to do that for them. The kids also enjoyed playing at the indoor playgroup in the mall. It was pretty crowded with other kids there. I had a coupon for a free ice cream that just so happened to be right next to the playgroup.
After a few hours of playing and browsing through the store we went out to lunch at Taco Bell since we had a few coupons for a free item. My motto is, "We don't go out to eat unless we have coupon." :). My kids love Taco Bell and were thrilled when saw where we pulled up to.
Afterwards, we went to Fred Meyer where the kids went into play-land (the store child care center) while we ate lunch and talked in peace. We still had two more hours left so we went to Traders Joe store that was close by. Traders Joe is all natural food store. The store is super cute. It has mini grocery carts for the kids to push around. It was so funny watching the kids push their carts side by side discussing what they should put in their carts.
Then Brett dropped me and the kids off at Target so the kids can play in the toy section while Brett got his haircut. By the time we got home we were exhausted! It was a fun filled day for the kids. I am glad we had all day together!

Wow! I can't believe how much you guys fit into one day. How fun! What mall did you go to? I'll have to check that one out. Bryson would love that train.
Days like that are exhausting, but so much fun too. Your kids are so cute!
You guys are such good parents. Such a fun day together!
You guys hit every play place there was in Oregon! :) That's so cute about the train ride. I can totally see them so excited to ride it. Evelyn begs me everytime to ride it too. I should just do it. It's moments like those that are priceless!
