Spring break was a few weeks ago. Perfect time to go to the beach as a family when Brett had work off and Clark was out of school. My parents' neighbor had a beach house that they said we could use. We left mid morning and set off to the beach. The kids were so excited and have been waiting for this day for weeks. Sadly the weather was TERRIBLE but we still made the most of it. We drove to the Tilamook Cheese Factory and tour the factory there. The kids thought it was the coolest thing to watch the workers package the cheese together. We quickly ran in the wind and the rain to our car and drove to get some lunch. We got sandwiches at a deli. We also bought a few groceries for the beach house. The weather continued to be miserable but the kids didn't mind. We got to the beach house early evening. Clark and Daisy ran through the house exploring the rooms. We played memory and did some puzzles that we brought and watched a movie. We were only thee for a few hours then decided to go home. It was a very short trip but we had fun being together. Before we left for home I told the kids to go to the bathroom one more time. Clark went in and lock the door as usual. After he was done he didn't know how to unlock the door. The door were older and weren't made like a ordinary door. So Brett and I had to coach Clark on how to unlock the door. I was so afraid that we would have to take the door off in order to rescue him. It took about 15 minutes for him to figure it out and grateful we didn't have to take the door down. Hopefully the next time we go to the beach the weather will be a little nicer to us.

One of these days, the Oregon beach will have great weather :) That's cool you guys went and made the most of it!
